Hello! Here are some photos of the initial stages of construction of my IJN Ise. This is a wooden hulled model started by JP Marino, with more work done by me, and finished up by Buddy Friend. This is a 26sec 5.5 unit Battleship in the MWC. The historical ship was 708 feet long and 111 feet wide, and was a slight improvement over the preceeding Fuso class with regards to armor thickness and turret arrangement. By 1936, both classes had been extensively upgraded and were essentially equal in protection, speed, and firepower. Enjoy! http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/...G_0002.jpg http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/...G_0001.jpg http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/...G_0003.jpg
Couple more pictures of the progress. Shafts installed, but I need to mount the supports still. http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj113/renodemona/IJN%20Ise/IMG_0001-1.jpg http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj113/renodemona/IJN%20Ise/IMG_0002-1.jpg
