Received my Iowa today. The hull has great symmetry and will be easy to mark waterline. The sides are 2 to 3 times thicker than any other hull ive got at this point. Highly impressed to say the least.thanks for the great hull modelshipsahoy
Thanks so much Sethie, We have worked very hard at finding out how these combat models should be built. We have changed our laminate schedules on all the boats to be super thick sided Future deliveries of the Prinz Eugen; Brooklyn and all other soon to be produced boats will follow this same heavily armored sides construction. Glad you like it! Go sink some Yamato’s.
Currently hull offerings Brooklyn Prinz Eugen (Deck and small parts available very soon) Tirpitz (will cut to Bismarck upon request) Iowa Mold for Baltimore ready in 2 weeks Next up Surcouf and Omaha this winter sporting mechanical guns. Not sure where we will go from there.... Ships I’m keen on: Arizona Hood Titanic Invincible King George V Scharnhorst / Gneisenau Porter Keep in mind our primary product line are scale powerboats Sailboats various other boats/ships and airplanes so combat models development takes back seat sometimes
Omg! Holy Guacamole. How could I have left that one off?!?!? Thanks for that kick in the brain PBA! The Graf Spee is high on my list.... time is my enemy at the moment. Plug building takes time. Anyone have a Graf Spee that they want converted to a solid well made fiberglass kit?
The flat area makes the rudders more effective for combat... Is thick enough inside that it can be sanded to the proper curves if desired.
$169 Spring Cleaning Special... We have 2 of these in stock at this special price. Our Fiberglass Supplier just went out of business and our new supplier prices are much higher, so get these Before we have to raise our prices.
Nope. We have a smaller Arizona plug in storage. Too many other priorities to put any kind of date on that one.
