Getting out of the hobby. I'll take pictures tomorrow of the ships and figure out what I have besides hulls that I can send with each. I just got the Baden at Nats. I know I have a couple escs, firing boards, and a BC multiboard. Random assortment of untested guns. Bc black pump, some BC Solenoids motors, flysky radio. Couple CO2 tanks and a regulator. Definitely enough stuff to put one of the 3 together, most likely the Baden as the Duilio needs the old gearboxes cut out and new ones relocated for the C turret gun to fit.
it's still a very real possibility. i'm going to get pictures this weekend. been busy with remodeling the kitchen and bathroom and also the hiring stuff for a new job
Miscellaneous I have some other stuff not in the pictures, I have to dig it out as it's behind some 4x8s of plywood, sawhorses, lawnmower, snowblower, and some other junk in the way. If anyone is interested in the ships though. I'd prefer to sell the hulls before electronics, or with a hull. I don't want to sell the parts separately.
would trade it all for a fully functional cruiser. at this point I either want out or want a working ship. I can do basics if it came down to it, but basically all the guns mounted and working, drive motor and shafts in, rudder all done, pump in and working. also not falling apart of course.
The falling apart is the big issue, most likely. That seems to be the state of a lot of boats in the hobby. I'm very tempted to take you up on that trade it all for a fully functioning cruiser concept. Would a brand new, working, 3D printed Fiji interest you? Mind you, it would take me a bit, as I'd have to get it printed and built, but it's something I've been wanting to do anyway. (That is, probably in the gonna take a few months time frame. Hold on to your junk in the meantime, right?) You wanna be a guinea pig for my experiments??? (Kidding, if I build something you can rest assured it's not gonna be junk.)
As of right now, unless someone has a fully functional ship to trade for it all, I'll be going with the Fiji offer above. While I'd prefer a faster cruiser such as the Fiji, I would look at just about anything if that lets me get on the water faster. Would need to be IRC legal.
