    Hey all,
I am looking for rib contours for either the Prinz Eugen, or Admiral Hipper. Anyone know of a source?

I can xerox the Hipper frames out of a book and mail them... let me see if i can find the flatbed scanner, that might be faster. (Being that I'm moving, finding is the operative word :) But I definately have a book with the frames, on a shelf that hasn't been packed yet.

I don't think I have Prinz Eugen, though. What scale do you want them in, if I scan it?

Wow!!! That would be great if you could do that. I am working in 1/144 scale.
    Thanks much,

YAY for Admiral Hipper! I personally prefer her to the PE for a variety of reasons. Also, Hipper ribs can be used to build the Blucher which I think was the best looking of the three Hipper units. Admiral Hipper/Blucher are also shorter then the PE, and therefore SHOULD turn a smidgen better.

I found the scanner. I'll find a USB cable and get scanning in the morning. I too like Deutschland better than PE.

The Admiral Hipper isn't related to the Deutschlands at all. Just want to make sure you don't have the Admiral Scheer confused with the Admrial Hipper for Gettysburg's plans!

Crap, I probably do :) Yup, I have Deutschland plans here. Sorry to get your hopes up, Bob.

On the other hand... I found squirrelled away on the hard drive: One frames diagram for Prinz Eugen. So, no Hipper/Blucher, but I have the Prinz Eugen. I is a pack rat, no doubt about it. Bob, you want PE instead? :)

And.... done! one DKM Prinz Eugen frame diagram scaled to 144. Send me an email at ssn706 (AT) gmail (DOT) com and I'll email it to you. I'll try to get the side profile view cleaned up so I can email that to you in good conscience. It'll be too huge to email in full size (the 1:144 drawings are like unto 175MB) but I can email you a smaller version that'll at least show you where the frames go in relation to the length of the ship. The bigger drawing (full 1:144 scale) will take some time, when I get it done it'll list for $10 + shipping. The little one will be good enough to build a hull (just scale the distance from each frame to the nose) and I can email it to you for free :)

Okay, I broke down and learned to use the file manager. Thanks for putting it up, Justin :)

The file is in Tugboat's folder, viewable by any User.
