Does anyone have blue prints or web page to point me too. I am trying to understand the science and or mechanics behind building a big gun and the fast shooter guns . I understand it's powered by air tanks but the triggering and the feeding of the BB's is what's throwing me off a little . Any resources to help me figure this out would be appreciated . Thanks , Fred
Ok , to answer my own question I found a web page that sells JC White's cannon plans from Strike Models. But if anyone wants to comment plz feel free to do so . And I did look into the forums and I am currently still surching through them . Thanks Fred
Hey, Fred, these should be what you're looking for. For fast gun, http://rcnavalcombat.com/Forum/tabid/58/aff/546/aft/441925/afv/topic/Default.aspx http://rcnavalcombat.com/Forum/tabid/58/aff/546/aft/408547/afv/topic/Default.aspx For big gun, http://rcnavalcombat.com/Forum/tabid/58/aff/535/aft/441794/afv/topic/Default.aspx This is a really good page. http://rcnavalcombat.com/Forum/tabid/58/aff/535/aft/443407/afv/topic/Default.aspx http://rcnavalcombat.com/Forum/tabid/58/aff/535/aft/442250/afv/topic/Default.aspx This shows the firing process of a big gun cannon. http://www.rcwarships.com/rcwarships/nwc/gun01.html Enjoy,
As a suggestion, perhaps purchase a cannon from Battlers Connection or Strike for an on-hand example of a fast gun cannon. By the way, it is not necessarily cheaper to make fast-gun cannons versus purchasing them. I would highly recommend purchasing cannons for the first ship before embarking on making them. Having pre-made cannons means one less system part to worry about on a ship.
Thanks guys, I do declare this is the most friendly and help full forum I have been on yet . Thanks fred

I 2nd what Mike says. Buy your first set. My first two tries at making guns did not turn out well. Battling without guns that work is not very fun. Unless you can have someone local help you through it the first time buying is best. Even with a really good how to I think your first few guns would end up being waisted parts. I have lots of gun parts in a bucket that never turned out quite right. Even after building around 100 guns I still have some that just don't turn out.
http://www.rcwarships.com/rcwarships/nwc/gun01.html ,, this web page is currently under construction .. But , you guys been doing this longer and know better . So that covers on building the guns ..compared to buying Now I just have to figure out what scale and model level I should look into .. Of course I would like to get the biggest and best but we all wanted to be that way at first . . I will look into older post on this issue . Unless everyone is bored and wanted to give any suggestions. I'm at the noob faze and very much in the listening faze. Thanks Fred
Strongly suggest you hold off on spending money on parts, kits, or anything else until you've actually seen some boats on the water and had an opportunity to pick their captain's brains. Second best would be meeting at someones workshop to go over systems, integration, and rule sets. I'd hate to have you invest time & money into (for example) fast gun and then discover big-gun suited you better (or vice-versa). Your area of Ohio is awesome in that you have almost every flavor of Rc combat represented. Take advantage of that!
Thanks . I sure will .. It's hard as a hobbiest to stay calm , but I will most deff. Be at the show and hope to get to look at some if your guys ships. Thanks Fred
