Mehoshi Maru engine?

    ok i'm getting ready to place a order for the engines and gear boxes for my 1/144 Mehoshi Maru's. my question is what engine and gear box would be best suited for this ship? also what is the best speed control to use? thanks in advance

    i forgot to say i'm ordering through Battlers Connection unless there are better options

    Cruiser size motors (380s) and cruiser gear boxes will work. BC is a fine place to order stuff from. Get some 1" props while you're paying shipping.

    Bob's advice is spot on.

    Just for reference, my Maru runs a Mabuchi 365 motor on an airplane 3.8:1 gearbox, final RPM around 3-4k.
