    Hey Mike,
    I read an email from you asking about what lacquer I use for installing my silk span.
    I use Minwax. (R) Clear satin lacquer. I buy it by the quart at either Lowes (R) or Home Depot (R). It is the same stuff that is sold in hobby shops but is about 1/3rd the cost

    there is a shocker it cost more at a hobby shop

    Yeah, you buy anything at a Hobby Shop and the price is way out there. Look at what a piece of spruce sells for, you can buy a 2x4 at Lowes for the same price.
