I am pretty sure that everyone on here got a good laugh out of that one. We all know that you want to build a Prinz Eugen, and it generally
gets folks more excited when they see someone else also building the same ship.
I am actually enjoying this build more than I thought I would. Mainly because I always try to read up on the history of the ships that I build.
The more one reads, the more one wants to read more. I am not so sure that there might not be a Scharnhorst in my future.
I have always had a fondness for the German ships, but it always seemed that they were already well represented at most battles in the past.
I am surprised to see that the German ships have not really taken off in Treaty, were most folks can agree that they will be really great boats.

Did you use balsa or plywood for the SS?

I am using balsa for the buildings, and light ply for each level.
Last project, I used foam for the buildings. It was somewhat lighter.
I am cutting the centers of the buildings out to try to keep the weight down.
