My first build.... Getting directions from Dad, but he tells me I have to do everything myself to be in the running for Rookie of the Year next NATS.

I have his help with the photos too...

    Hello Josh

Mississippi can be a vicious little boat when built right. I run one in the IRC and it routinely tangles with Nassaus. (More than one) Take your time and you will love it.

    Hello Joshua,

As I am currently building my first ship as well(probably you will finish faster, though), I sadly have no advice other than have fun, and take your time.:(;) I think that the Mississippi is a beautiful ship, and it has a lot of history. You picked a great ship to build, in my opinion.:);):);):)

    Spudwerks is moving right along.

My St. Louis passed it's electric / electronic functions test today. Remaining to do: Seal wood, super, skin & paint
USS Spudstate (Idaho / Kilkis) is just slightly back from that (wiring in progress)
USS Mississippi (aka SS Minion) is lagging a bit b/c 13-y-o boy just discovered girls. :whistling:

And Spudsy's camera took a header off the workbench. No pics until he buys new camera for Admiral Wifey. :bang:

    Good luck!
Lets see who finishes first, and I hope she doesn't suffer the same fate as Viribus Unitis:whistling:
