At about 8:07 PM Tuesday, October 30, a magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck about 9 miles northeast of San Jose, near the WWCC battle pond. No reports of major damage or of injuries have been received. One member reported that his first thought was to save his partially complete Bismarck. My brother and I were in class learning a new CAD program when the temblor struck. There was some concern that this was "the big one" that scientists have predicted will eventually hit the Bay Area, but it was simply a reminder that this is earthquake-prone California. No delays are expected at any shipyard, and the rules meeting this weekend will continue as planned.

Glad to hear you are ok; even better to hear your ships are OK also.

My ships will be entoumbed with me, so that I can have them serve me in the afterlife... (that and a giant stuffed jackalope to really wig out the futures archaeologists...)

    :)
