    All
I would like to take this opportunity to extend to the IRCWCC, it's members,
and all of the folks on this, and any other of the various forums, my sincere,
and heart-felt appologies for anything that I have said, or done at any events,
or on the forums, in the past that was felt to be hurtful to this club, or any
    of it's members.
Special appologies to Carlo, and Plato. Two guys that have helped me and many
others in this great hobby that we all share.
Lastly, my appologies to the executive board members for having to go to the
trouble of having to look at my membership privelages for the current year.
I will support your decision on the matter, and take it to heart.

I have a brand spanking new hull for a Richelieu class battleship in-hand, and
will be buiding her up for the future battling seasons, in hopes that I may be
given a chance to come battle with this great club, and all of it's great folks
at some time in the future.
    Very respectfully your's.
    Mikey

I am sorry that I did not post it here at the same time I posted it on the IRCWCC's yahoo site.

Funny how an IRCWCC matter got dragged into a public forum. Kinda a disservice to the IRCWCC.

This forum was built for this exact reason. To bring the various bits of our hobby together. Personally, I'm very glad to see some of the walls coming down.

There will always be infighting in any hobby; its how we get past those differences that determines if a hobby survives.

My apologies then. I must have misread the first paragraph of the apology that was directed towards IRC members. And yes, I read the second paragraph also.

Frankly, I think your post in the other thread calling for a public apology is uncalled for. He posted the apology in the appropriate mail lists. I'm sure you saw at least one of those. Calling for him to apologize here on these forums is a blatant attempt to humiliate the guy. Mike took the hit and posted it anyway.

I'm glad you accepted it. Hopefully, this will go a long ways to seeing Mike captain the Hood in next year's IRCWCC events.

    • So unjustly being called a cheat and not to be trusted isn't humiliating?
    • I was slandered and that was that. On this Forum.
    • The French just have a different look on what is true and not.
    • I'm glad to see that Mikey sees it the same way.

Luckily, I never said anything about what has went on before. Only about the apology which covers the points you just made.

Like I said, I'm glad the apology was made and accepted. Time to move on.

Time to move on... Agreed. The two main parties have found resolution; so by definition this is over.

Anything more said on this topic is probably damaging to the good that was done here today. I will leave this topic unlocked; but please think before you post on it.

    Well.
I hope that everyone was able to say what they needed to say.
As Justin said a while back. Letting things fester, will only make it worse.
So if anyone has something that they need to get off their chest, then now is the time to say it, so that we can all get back to the fun an comradery that is what this great hobby is about.

It sounds like everyone is good-to-go.
    That is great.
    We move on then.
