MY PC is corrupted.

Hi just want to inform you my PC is corrupted. I was installing a OFFICE 2000 CD and well it has a corrupt file. I get windows install error 1635.I tried system restore ect ect ect and no go. I can't receive email through sympatico.

I hope to get this corrected soon.

Mine gets that way sometimes. I have a second drive with all my music, pictures and favorite program installs on it. I can dump the main and be up and running in an hour.

 

There should be an auto repair mechanism in the installer.

 

I tried the repair mechanisms about a dozen times. No go. I was talking to a colleage of mine here and he has the system programs to repair such errors.I still have my PC on but email is out and surfing is a pain as parts of the system is being corrupted.

If I don't get this in time the PC is going to the Hospital.

Yeah possibly. A PC medic place. Tomorrow I am working on the pc to try and fix it.

 

OK .. I'm back. My PC has been reformatted. I just need to activate the sound card but the internet and my email is working fine.
