Time of year for Battlestations national event?
I know the Midwest naval combat club's annual event the task force includes both formats of Treaty in 1/144 and Battlestations in 1/96, it has been held in September in the hopes of not conflicting with other national level events, does anyone have any objections to the Battlestations nats being held at the Midwest Naval Combat clubs Task force event? The club has the following ships built
    Strasbourg
    Mogador
    Tashkent
    Gustav
    Saipain
    Yard oiler
    Saint George Sea Plane tender
    Henry the IV
Additionally the Surcouf, Mighty Hood, Jean Bart, Kearsarge, two Capitani Romanis, Dustins Arkansas, and Carls Jap in various levels of construction, of which I will gurantee atleast one of the large capital ships, possibly both, and atleast one of the Capitanis will be ready by Task force II.

When are you proposing it to be?
And from the ship list there, it looks light on Axis firepower...

I should have Shimakaze running by then, but it may have only guns instead of guns and torps.

Light on Axis ships but heavy on non-aligned :D
The Strasbourg, Mogador, Tashkent, Gustav V, Henri IV, Capitani's, and Jean Bart can play either side.
On a related note: I would like to propose a battle at one of our events exclusive to pre-Washington treaty ships. I call it "The Cage Mast Cage Match!" The Kearsarge, Gustav, Henri, and Arkansas have either been in a battle or are under construction...

Russia had a non-agression treaty with Germany during WW2, could be an excuse to use it as a 'neutral'.

I think with the Russians they consider the co-attack with Germany, against Finland and Poland initially in the war makes them axis, but when Germany invades Russia, they become Allied.

So as long as my German ship doesn't fire on it, I'm good? Lol :)

Exactly! I figured the Germans either firing or not on the Tashkent was an easier determinating factor as to which side the Rooskies where on than if it was pre-June 1941 guise verses post June 1941 guise... LMAO
