Greetings and welcome aboard Kevin. What I would recommend as a first step is to find a group within your region. That will point you in the direction of the type of ship you would want to build, i.e., Big Gun or Fast Gun ship. This is a great forum with a wealth of knowledge. If I read your profile correctly, you are from Norristown, PA. There is a Fast Gun group in Maryland, IRCWCC and their website is http://www.ircwcc.com/. Mid-Atlantic Battle Group is a Big Gun Group in Virginia, and our website is http://mabg.org/. I hope this helps.
Norristown is close to me im from Spring City or as you would know Pottstown area, need any help on a build i can help you with (some) things as i am no expert YET.
