New to this, have built a battleship, but my passion was building edf jets, looking to build an aircraft carrier to launch and land jets on, then the rest of a carrier strike group, going to get a 3d printer, and start building, this should be interesting..
Well, the jets are 1/25, an aircraft carrier 1/25 would be roughly 45 feet long, that's massive, not sure if could pull that off, 1/72 would equate to 13-15 feet long, which is doable, but could we land on it.. thinking I could make it wider, that way I could land and house more than 1 jets, that's my main objective, aircraft carrier that i can take off and land on, if I built a strike group, the 1/72 would be a nice challenge, what do u think?
Ooff. That’s a big boat. can’t you shrink the jets? Lots of shrink tech out in the world today. our boats are 1/144, as an exanple
So 1/144 is like 7 1/2 feet, the battleship i built was 6' long, yeah I've been getting into building smaller planes, I think that would put an f14 down to about 6 inches, I've seen builds like that that fly, I think I'll look into that, that would be pretty damn cool, launch 30 jets against another guys ships, have to bring all the kids and grandkids.. trying to figure out the bb gun for a jet, I got the electromagnetic bomb carriage they drop plastic bombs, gotta get them to explode.. I'm sure guys don't wanna lose their ships , me, if you can sink it, sink it, build another one.. do you have ships built?
