Hello Every One, My name is Clyde and I am new to this hobby, I have checked out the rules and suppliers of warship kits, but haven't found any details on how the inside strucker is laid out. So if anyone can share pictures or plans I'd be very grateful.
Hey Clyde, I am new here too. I have a general idea on how the inside structure is laid out, but not completely sure. I don't think there is a standard way of doing it, as long as everything is up to code (so to say). I had planned on putting down a small deck on the inside structure to mount everything too, so that I don't have to worry about not have a flat surface to work with.
Clyde, welcome! For both of you, I would suggested looking in the 'Warship Builds' part of the forums; generally, there are lots of pictures showing progress from a piece of wood (or a fiberglass empty hull) to a fully-functional warship.
Welcome! I have found that the Port Polar Bear website has a great section on the inside of a warship. It kind of helps give you an idea of how things look.
Ok I'll check it out. Besides the inside layout does anyone have a website or store in mind where I could possibly purchase some hulls, guns, hardware, etc.. Thanks -Clyde
Either http://www.battlersconnection.com or http://www.strikemodels.com sell hulls and the assorted hardware like cannons.
Thanks for the tip absolutek! Do you have any idea of the ships come with most of the neded equipment? -Clyde
Depends, some come with more than others. Typically you will have to buy the radio & batteries yourself from another source, as well as your glues, paints and other miscellaneous materials. You may also find it helpful to buy some tools as well if you dont already have them.
