Well back to the Indy build my life has settled a bit. I was really busy taking care of my ma and pa when my pa was real sick. He finally passed so time to continue the build and dedicate it to him. He was always pumping me for info on how it was going didn't have the heart to tell him that it was on hold for him. Guess he knows now.

But anyways... Chris and Dave Au told me to set up my pumps and motors micro switches so that when the switch is open it is a complete circuit. This helps if you wedge comes loose or out of whack. So not being a EE I looked at some wiring diagrams on MWC and here and see it is common to have + go to NO and the ground to go to NC. If I were to swap that would that be the required way to wire it the way Chris told me?

You want the Normally Open (NO) to close the circuit (I.e. run the pump). So run the ground to one side of the pump and the plus through the switch to the other side of the pump.
