:D Well James Cameron came back from another expedition of the Bismarck and this is how he found the ship post IRCWCC NATS 2010.

You got shot up pretty good on the armor inside.

This is how Bismarck looked minutes before the 1st Sortie of the 1st battle of Day 1.

The BIS gave as good as she got. It performed quite well for that event.

Not bad for an old guy.. referring to Bismarck not me of course. The ARMOR after further inspection I found it aborbed manybb dents so it did hold up but some cannons were firing well above specs maybe not on the pressure side but on the tighter tolerances of the inside diameter of the barrels. Those shots blew right through. I did find a couple of bb dings on the A turret mag but fortunatly they weren't deep enough to jam the mag. I'll be sleeving those in silicone tubing to protect them next time. MO will defintly have stronger internal armor and sleeved mag protection.

I thought the captions and descriptions would appear with the pics. Oh well a pic can sometimes say more than words.

Have fun repairing that. I think I'll try for a more bulletproof superstructure on my ship, though.

HOLY CRAP Admiral!!! He must whistle when he sails now with all of those holes.
Looks like you had fun though, which is of course what counts.
If you want to rearmour the Bis, you should try the plastic canvas we use here. The key is that is it flexible and absorbs impacts. I have never had a bb penetrate the internal armour.
Pity we can't get you and Bis here for the Shearwater show, he would be an AWESOME answer to when people ask if we really shoot at each other.

PS I have some great, rugged Allied paper if you need armour for the MO! :) :)

What is that stuff you have JAY? I could use new armor for the MO and Yammer and Bismarck. Tom Cromwell could use some too. Where do you get it?

That superstructure had tons of holes in it prior to Nats just more noticable now than ever before. I have a new replacement for it but I may use it for detail pretty non battle cruising and keep the current as is with a little clean up on it.
