    The NC is back up for sale as I did not get in touch with those who where interested. Life got in the way somehow... anyway,.....
    The kit has everything you see in the photos below. Basicly, it is a full hull kit with superstructure minus the deck, and hardware.
    The only issue with the ship, is that like any larger fiberglass hull, the hull has bowed outwards a little, and the builder needs to make sure they have her back into the correct beam width when making the deck.
    The kit has the following;
    Hull (Windows are already cut to MWCI rules set) *that saves a ton of work! :woot:
    Foam superstructure parts
    Molded turrets, main, secondary, Gun Control, LRFs for the turrets, and fire control
    Barbetts for main and secondary
    Deck layouts in styrene sheeting
    assorted brass tubing
    plans

    RE: North Carolina Hull & Kit For reference purposes, I just shipped a Tirpitz hull from eastern Georgia to Louisiana with UPS store boxing it for me and it cost about $80.

    RE: North Carolina Hull & Kit I shipped a derf hull that cost $77.. the length affects the price more than the weight.. at fedex. I shortend the box .. I forget the threshold .. but by losing 2 inches I saved $35.

    RE: North Carolina Hull & Kit Dimensional weight will kill you with shipping hulls. It doesn't kick in quite as fast if you ship by ground instead of air (until January at least, when FedEx changes their rules). You will want to make the box as close as possible to the hull and still be within the guidelines for the shipping company. I think (but am not positive) UPS wants two inches of padding all around, which really adds up the cost.

    For some unknown reason, one of the boys wants the NC to build instead of another ship he was looking at. I am sorry about the temtations, but I will be letting the boy work on the NC. I have no idea why he wants to be allied? I thought I had taught him better...:crying:

    I dont see how BC and Strike sell hulls, that shipping is crazy!:confused:
