O/T Great News

    For those not aware via the IRC/BIGGUN list, the great news is as follows. I'm getting Married to a wonderful woman who actually encourages me to do my hobbies. It does mean less hobby time, but that is not a problem :).

    They are long gone.. I still have a karlsruhe I may be able to get running this winter though...

    Hey! get the Misses involved witht he hobby.
    We make our sailing a social event with a good bit of food.
    My wife tends to goes overboard on cooking up her specilities for the group.
    Our motto, "Cool boats, Big Guns, Good friends"!
    It helps a great deal having the wife involved.

    Sadly no, but on the plus side I'm not on the night shift anymore, so we can resume regular cellphone comms at night anytime.

    Yeah, and not going back and forth between nights(work sched) and days(spend time w/wife sched), I have lots more vim and vigor :) I like sleeping at the same time every day! So what's your fiancee do for a living?

    It's great to have a girlfriend/fiance/wife who "tolerates" or supports our little hobbies. Mine kicked me out of the house for the weekend and told me to go to CANATS.
