    Hey folks,

I am building a Utah in her late 1920's fit. I am looking for a good 3 way view of the Vought O2U floatplanes that were used in that era. Also does anyone know of a source for the colors of the float planes on the Utah. I know silver fuselage and yellow wings but more detail would be nice.

    Thanks,
    James

The Vought Aircraft heritage site has several pictures of the O2U, but alas none in color. Sorry I couldn't be more help. The link is below, click on O2U to get the B&W pics.

If you want to see a cool pic of an Omaha launching an O2U from overhead, go here:

One of the Vought company photos is a colorized version. Makes me want to do more research on the lettering, but lets me know that the basic yellow wings/silver fuselage will work. Love that Memphis launch shot...that is just neat.

Just needed to adjust the search terms. This should prove handy for all of those Omaha hulls.
