I heard of some sort of medical tape that the Big Gun guys use for patching hull damage. Anyone know what they are using?
    Thanks,

We have latex and paper based tapes in our facilities, the latter for people with latex sensitivities. I doubt that paint would adhere to the latex tape and I don't think the paper tape would last long in a wet environment. The latex tape used here is pretty tough and may not be easily penetrable.

I was experimenting with correction tape. It seems to be water resistant and doesn't break down to pulp when wet. They have the thin tape but there is some about 1-2 inches also. 3m makes it. That might work.

The MBG always used masking tape during the day, then re-sheeted after the event. It didn't look very good for the photos, and video, but it was quick and easy.
