I still here the words coming from my uncle along with the words from the persident, this date will live infamy. My father along with his brother served in the navy, I have been able to get a few stories out of my uncle. My father was killed in an auto accident when I was 5 , so I never got to talk to him about what he saw.We have a 86 yr old survivor here in newark with a small article about his first return back since WWII. I try to make a point to greet a service man or veteran and say thank you for doing what you did. Buddy
