I have done some searching and so far the plans I have come across do not have the detail required that I need to make my drafts. What would be a good source to find the plans at?

i kno there are plans for the Abdiel class minelayer/convoy, so you could search for that and then just modify the details to make it look like latona. Not that details are huge on a ship that size anyway. but you can get good plans at any of these places( altho the last one probably wont help unless ur looking for an american ship, i kno latona isnt):

I would say Taubmans for the Latona. Don't forget she had sisters so the plans might be under one of those names. Abdiel is one Welshman is another.

if you can wait 2-3 months a fiberglass Abdiel Class hull will be available. I have the plans reduced to 1/144 scale and Abdiel is the next hull project on my list. The cottage has been closed for the winter so I'll be home most weekends and can start hull plug construction in about 2 weeks. This is a simpler hull shape than the Z23 and that mold (which I sold to Battler's) took only a month to make. I was talking to Stephen Morgret of Strike Models last night - he expressed interest in making the mold if I make the Abdiel hull plug.
