I have a 3 blade 40 pitch 1 1/2 inch prop on my DKM Bismarck. I am looking to get more speed. will a 4 blade 40 pitch work or go to a 25 pitch 3 or 4 blade prop?

    Thanks

Change the pinion gear, if you run a 14 go to a 15, or 16. A 1 1/2 inch seem small for a Bismarck, I think most guys use a 1 3/4 or 2 inch prop.

Sorry it is a 1 3/4 prop that I am using will try to change to a different pinion gear. I am runing a 14 tooth pinion right now.

Going up 1 size in the pinion should increase your speed by around 1 1/2 seconds. Then you can add larger drag disks, which will have the side affect of improving your steering. [:D]
