Hi Brodie, A couple of questions and suggestions: What is your definition of "cheap"? A cruiser (smallest easy-to build & battle) hull is over $100, then you have to add guns, pump, radio, batteries, etc. All up ready to go ship is easily $400+, not to mention the time & know-how to build it. If you want to buy someone else's sweat-equity, that's fine, but understand that the "used" price isn't going to be significantly less than "new", since the guns, bottle, motors & whatnot are fixed costs. There's a bunch of active battlers in Texas, have you contacted any of them directly? Often they have extra hulls lying around that they may be willing to help you get into battling condition.
