Rib Spacing Questions

    A question for the old timers. If one wanted to play around with varying rib spacing and widths, where would you concentrate impenetrable area? The application would be a 28s 5-unit boat for fastgun. I’m thinking thicker aft and thinning out as you go forward. Would this be advantageous? Or not worth the effort?

    Many people do that, typically adding a few ribs in the bow and stern areas.
