Carriers are cool, but liners have so much more reserve volume before they're sunk that I couldn't resist.

After watching @Kevin P. Basically supply his entire fleet with convoys, I've decided that I'll never show up to NATs again without at least 2. EoB is part of that commitment, and I expect a sister ship to be born quite shortly as well.

Stay tuned, should be a super simple/quick build out.

Missing 2 funnels and 2 small pieces of superstructure. The decks just arrived from the laser cutting shop. Hull is glued and screwed, need to sand down excess glue and also fill in some spots.

Yes, the garage is a disaster zone. I know.

Wooden decks on, rest of the superstructure loosely in place.

I tried to add little 1mm recesses into the superstructure pieces to allow it to all key together. Didn't work out, ended up completely filled with support material to the point that it's basically solid. The next one will have full cutouts, and the SS levels will have flanges to be inserted from below. Same with the funnels.

Empress is large enough that she was basically immediately exiled to the storage shelf once her hull was all 1 piece. Heres a forward-on view of her superstructure, including the "bail-out pump" outlet location. And also an internal shot showing the sump for the bailing pump.

Once the 4+ hulls in the shop that are shipping out for customers are gone, I'll work on Empress some more.
