Robinson Racing gears

    Anyone have a problem with Robinson Racing gears rusting? I have some rust in my propulsion & am trying to figure out what is going wrong....

    as the gears are steel, you should expect them to rust.

    coat of oil might help some.

    BTW: How did you find out they were steel? I didn't see that anywhere on the package? Am I blind?

    You can stick a magnete to them.
    And steel is lots cheeper than other stuff that might do that.

    Plus they rust nice.

    Try Stock Drive Products for gears made of rust free materials.

    ahh.. experience! That's all you had to say! ;)

    I will replace them either once they become unusable or I upgrade the tranny.
