    I have several sets of Pre-Dreadnought plans which I would like to use to do a practice hull using ideas from this forum. The plans I have are 1:200 and 1:192 scale. I was wondering how much I would have to enlarge to 1:144 by %. I have a printer at home that I could enlarge the frames. If the hull came out good I could always go to a boxstore to have the rest of the plans enlarged. Thank you

    192 to 144 is 133% (192/144 == 1.33333333333)
    1/200 to 1/144 is roughly 138.89%

    scaling factor = origin scale / destination scale

    Nick, thank you for the answers. I actually looked through this forum and found some links to some scale conversion charts; your answer matches what the chart says. For now on I shouls search this forum before asking questions.

    No problem. Answering again just makes it easier to find when someone searches later. :)
