Hi all, Well the rain stopped today, the duck pond was thawed, so USS Little Rock took to the water for some sailing. She performed as expected although still sitting a little light. I need to build her superstructure and give her more shakedown time but she's pretty much complete.
Thanks guys, she'll look a lot nicer once she has her topsides. It is a BC hull. Under the rules she's allowed 11.9 lbs with the 10%. Her 'scale weight' would be 10.85lbs which is my target weight.
She also has a 1/8" waterline in the photos. I had no 1/4" tape but wanted it on for the sailing so put on the 1/8" roll I had for Abdiel. If we're still counting damage next year I'll have to change over. If not then I guess theres no reason why 1/8" won't work.
