Looking for a semi completed Iowa class ship. I'm good with setting all the electronics and I'm not worried about guns yet. My son is in love with the Missouri to the point he can tell you the battles it was in what numbers are On the ships order they were built in and he is only six. So I figured this would be fun for both of us but he isn't going to be shooting anything lol a little to young. I'm thinking about the strike model Iowa but I'm worried about my skill with the hull deck and superstructure so if I can find something semi done or in need of some repairs it might be better. Thanks. I am in NE Ohio

If it is not meant for combat, I suggest you get the Trumpter 1/200 scale. It can also be RC'd

Lol. It's a Iowa hull deck and superstructure. I'm pretty good with mechanical stuff but kinda suck at wood work (to inpatient ). So getting that part mostly done is a bonus. Plus we have had Rc cars and planes for a while so I should be good with that part.

Sounds like you've got a good foundation, plus you're in a good spot being near the Treaty guys.

HMCS is a former member of Nabs. He sold me parts from his Iowa kit. He is Scott Foster. Scott used to battle with us with his Graf Spee and Moltke. He was trying to sell his combat boat stuff and Tom Cromwell and I purchased some items from him. I have the spare Iowa superstructure from him as well. I have my Missouri nearly combat outfitted.
