Do the Canadian guys make a Seydlitz hull. I'm pretty sure one of them did at one time.

I think it was a mold that was commissioned from Ralph Coles by David Tuttle of the IRCWCC. No idea what happened to it after Mr Tuttle got it.

At one point in the distant past, I was offered the plug of a Seydlitz for $900... they said they wanted to keep the mold. I decided to let them keep the plug, too :) Can't remember who it was, though.

I've sent an email to the last email address I have for David Tuttle, so we'll see if I get a response or not and I'll post back here.

Ralph Did have one made for Chris Osborne. You can see a part of it under the Barham photo album in my media albums. It is next to the Barham on display and the Captain Norm is sitting behind his Barham and the Seydlitz.

Would also be interested if a Seydlitz hull popped up.

Ralph Coles was commissioned to make a Seydlitz hull mold for David Tuttle while living in Surrey, British Columbia 8-9 years ago. Ralph sold David the hull plug, the mold and 6-8 hulls (he's not sure exactly how many). He made one hull for himself which he brought back from BC to Nova Scotia. It's still in his hull collection and he does not want to sell it. (I wanted to buy it.)

I don't know why David isn't making and selling Seydlitz hulls. I'm sure he could sell several.
