Minus the superstructure... or any working parts yet. The IJN SHinano test floated in Nova Scotia Last August. Check her out. Youtube.com has the edited vids. Type in "Shinano" and viola. There shoudl be three there in total.

New video to come. Does anyone know how to add music. I wish to make a musical video of sorts, never done it before.

You need a basic video editor to add music. It doesn't have to be much, Windows Moviemaker or whatever you have is good (if you capture video onto your computer from a video camera, that software is probably also an editor). Most all video editors operate the same way, so I'll describe the basic process.

Step 0: obtain audio and video files you want to use. You need to capture the video from your video camera to your computer. Find a piece of music you want to use from your library. Sound effects can be found online, in computer games, or you can record them yourself.

Step 1: select the audio and video files on your computer you want to use and add them to the library. The editor then prepares the clips for use.

Step 2: select a clip and place it in the timeline where you want it. The timeline is what is actually in the video. This is where you can trim clips, arrange and edit your video. There are separate audio and video tracks so you can add music and sound effects on top of the video.

Step 3: once you've added the video and audio and finished editing, you export the video. Note that exporting is different than saving: exporting creates a video file while saving creates a project file that you can come back and edit.

Step 4: post! show off to the world!

It's getting late and I might not be making much sense any more, so look at your editor's help files and tutorials. Those are written by profesionals who aren't suffering from lack of sleep.
