Hey all. I was thinking about this the other day, and I'd like to know what your opinion is. Conversations in the past have led to favorite ships or ships that best compliment a person or their playing style. Battlewagons that fit our personalities on the water.

I tell ya, it's true. With my first combat model NC, it had great turning, acceleration, and was able to hug anything out there. It had a decent armament, but I always found it lacking. It had everything but a good solid knock out punch. So it was a great starter boat for me.

Bismarck, has quickly raised the bar from simply one weekend. It may not have the acceleration that I want, but the triple sets of duels give me excellent firepower. It had me running up and down the beach and holding my own with the other big kids. It`s ugly and graceful. Powerful and bold. I feel like it compliments my fighting style and is now my signature ship. One that people will look at on the water and say... that`s Craig.

So I leave it up to the other captains... does this have merit and if so what is your signature ship, which showcases who you are on the water.....

My signature ship I think is Bismarck and Yamato. Using Warspite however may change that in future. I am not sure which ship is really my signature ship.Maybe the other Captains can tell me what they think is my signature ship.

I gotta go with Yamato. If I had to choose a single ship Curt. Bismarck is right there, for obvious reasons and history. You have the shirt with sponge bob for Yamato. You sign off with Stokomoto ship yards, and the fighting and recent history is all Yamato... Bis had a great run with you, and may yet again... but nothing says CVS like the big girl. I would say Japanese for sure.

The Bama will be ready. I have decided that I will purchase a brand new gun kit to arm it. It will be stripped during the winter and rebuilt on the inside with better connections. I am going to look at what Jay did and I might try that.

Craig, I agree with you...Chris does have that Kipperness about him,[8] KG5 should be his next one. Curt and Paul are bang on. You also were quite effective with the North Carolina, moreso than Bismarck I think (but that could just be a technical thing).
Since I have only ever had Scharnhorst I'll have to go with that. Or maybe Gniesenau. Once I figure out the differences I'll let you know. I will also through into the ring that Steve Crane is Nagato, hands down.
Paul, just give a call and we can set up a build session or two or ten.[:D]

    Yes yes yes and maybe?

Yes, Chris talks about kipper more than his German battlewagon... it's true. "I will finish Tirpitz and put it on the shelf to begin work on Vanguard/KG5/flavor of the week." Is almost a direct quote. Doesn't sound like he will be going much further with the tirpitz.

Yes I agree, NC or Bis... hmmmmmm. I am not having the fun I had with NC though and Bis is a big goof like me! So that works.

Yes Paul, Steve and Curt are right. For sure.

Maybe... we'll have to give the two of you some alone time to let you work it out.... is it Scharnnie.... is it Gnesssie? Who knows...

What else is there to talk about once the bugs are out of Tirpitz it is time to move on to another project and we do need something to shoot at and as I am one of the few people with an allied ship or hull it might as well be me.
