RE: Bismarck for Sale just a great big thank-you to Craig, she is re-painted and patched and charging for battle tomorrow, will redo waterline later(little wavey) and secondaries missing in these shots, but each secondary is one screw through deck from bottom into turret, so a 5 min mounting job as they are painted already, there are cranes on each side and 2 large masts. cheers

RE: Bismarck for Sale Unfortunatly , no. I do not have the space or time to make the molds... I could readily do the design work, but the fabrication would have to be done elsewhere.

RE: Bismarck for Sale This is so close to real life it is almost scarry and sad.... Bismark first day out at pond, looked like no one was going to show but me and my son so was just getting ready to launch bismark after repairs to motor switches, when Craig and son and friend showed up, great 3 more captains, so quickly get Bismark and Hindenburg into water, ok first battle, Bismark and gearing vs I-Boat and hindenburg protecting liberty ship liberty ship goes down, hindenburg goes down (son forgot which switch was pump), next sorty hindenburg and Bismark verses the rest, Gearing shot down and sinks, I boat low in water, steamer low when suddenly Bismark starts going full reverse or turning with oposite or no input from transmitter, not good, she heads to deep part of pond and rolls on side and goes down, divers will be there tuesday if weather is good the water is 14' deep and you cannot see your hand infront of your face, tried some diving today (monday as well as throwing and draging grappling hook today and Sunday, no luck so far..... I will keep all posted........ (Did I mention I had just taken the float on the 20foot line off the boat as I was just going to drive around before the battling started and didn't want to have it blow off the boat in the wind....... no eh? ummmmm....
RE: Bismarck for Sale Bring rope and have them search in circles or some grid. It always helps us when we do that.
RE: Bismarck for Sale Gathering more Divers, will go in on Thursday, are experienced police divers and friends, so will be good search, we will get her, if they can't find her i will get a side scan sonar (hummingbird has one) and we will find her and rebuild..
