Hi again all. I am working on narrowing down my list of potential ships to build. I was able to get the French plans from the French archives, so I am all set there. However, I am having a hard time finding them for the Russian Gangut and Empress Maria classes. Does anyone have a source for those?
    Thanks.
    Ryan W.

Ryan, I'm seeing files for the Gangut plans that we don't have listed on our page (Strike Models). Let me look and see if there was a reason they're not on the web / available for purchase, or if I just missed those when I put up the plans page.

Hey Ryan, have you considered armored cruisers? 2.5 units, 26 seconds, and they're a hoot! If you want to do one from wood, I have good plans for French and Russian ones (Edgar Quinet, and Admiral Makarov, respectively). If you want to do one from fiberglass, BC has SMS Scharnhorst and Strike has HMS Duke of Edinburgh (which can be converted to the HMS Warrior easily). Relatively cheap to build and battle, and easy to carry around!

Note, found Imperator Pavel I plans on the hard drive. Plenty of frames and good plan and profile views, if you want to get your predread fix.

Be careful with those French plans.
They need a lot of work.
Besides needing to be scaled down to 144, they also seem to have a bend in them.
The several I have played has a center line that is curved like a banana!

I haven't seen any that were too curved to save without too much drama, which ones were you referring to?

    1. You get what you pay for.
    2. Scaling is easy.
    3. The banana keel is just another example of creative French naval architecture! :D

    Vive la France!:)

It was fairly easy to correct the bend with a graphics program such as Gimp. :)

The Mogador has a sever bend in the deck plan and the Courbet Class battleship has a minor bend.

Make sure to check all the files... there are many different copies of the plan and profile views.
