    Hey Phil,
You have any links for the speed controls you had in Ohio? I am looking for one for another boat and one to use for bilge pumps.
    Thanks,

What was the amperage on them? After running your Newport News I am seriously looking at kicking my MAG throttles to the curb. I'd also like to try one out as a pump control.

    Phil,
Can we get together sometime so you can educate me on them? I just do not know that much on how they work with a standard radio.

    Mike,
I don't Know what the amp draw was. They did fine with the two 550's. Should be no problem for the 970 I have in Bismarck.

That is the one that Phil was telling me about. Are forward and reverse both 100% power?

Yeah I don't know a anything about ESC's in general so somebody with more knowledge will have to chime in. They seem to be cheaper then the standard ones everybody uses, but it does say they make them all inhouse so that could be why.

Phil, are they waterproof out of the box, or do they need some special attention?

The page says they can be used for a car or boat model so I would assume they would be waterproof, but not sure how much water a non-combat boat would take in during a run.

The specs look great. I have not heard this mentioned from the fast gun guys. They are always mentioning the mtronics 15 or 40 amp and they both cost more. I wonder if they have heard of this?

How about heat? Can it be installed in a radio box? I didnt see any cooling fins to mount a water cooling rig onto either.

It does have thermal protection so if it overheats in a box then dip and mount outside
