Hey captains of the Southeast! The Fall Regional battle aka "Ghosts of Savannah 2007" will be held Oct 13 and 14, oddly enough near Savannah, GA.

It's going to be quite a turnout, with people coming from Florida, Atlanta, and even North Carolina to do battle! This battle is also going to be very exciting as it marks the return of battlin' Rob Stalnaker to the ponds of the southeast! Rob is bringing his most excellent HIJMS Yamato to pound the allied vermin beneath the waves!

So if you're not planning on coming, plan to come and get in on the biggest bang since Nats :)

Everyone should bring something for the door prize table :) And be prepared to feast on steak and such on Saturday night!

Allied vermin should bring hip waders. Or a snorkel.

    Banzai!!!

I am still giving it some serious thought. That is a haul from Dayton, but I have not ruled it out just yet.
    Are you going David?

Hi Mike, yes for sure, will be my first time in Savannah for a battle. I told Don and Rick that you might make it, and bring a few friends also.

I am hoping that our Treaty battle schedule will not conflict, so that I can come down to fall regional.
I would bring friends if I had any. hehe.
    I will keep you posted.

I'm working on the Agano hull mold this week, so it'll be the debut battle of my new hull. Kind of cool for me, as it'll be my first battle in my own ship, running my own gearbox, my own(by way of Greg) pump, and my own guns. I need to finish other projects so I can get to the beta testing on the solenoid firing cards!

*The pump comment above relates to a new development: I am buying Greg's pump molds (and Tirpitz SS molds) and collaborating with him on other neat stuff in the future. Very exciting :) More than doubles my R&D capability to have someone with Greg's skillset working with me. I'll have to get him one of the staff polo shirts :)

[not kidding, mom's fancy sewing machine does embroidery and she's making me some polos with our logo on them] [maybe I should get her to make some for next year's Nats... like Axis Admiral, CD, and a pink one for Allied Admiral]

I will not be able to come down for the fall battle this time around.
We have found several ponds in the last month or so, and we are trying to schedule battles at all of them before the weather gets too cold.
I will try to come down some time next year.

    Awww... Next time!!!

As a compensation, though, my dentist was poking around in my mouth today, and somehow I got out enough words to convey to him what it is that we do. He's coming to observe on Saturday.
