So I got the urge to build something to help make the allies great again #maga

It is a Ralph Cole's made hull from Nova Scotia, Canada. Though the scale accuracy may not be quite as good as the BC version, it is quite thick, and the shipping was a lot cheaper.

I marked out the windows the other day. I opted for two stringers on sharp bends in the upper hullform.

    All ribs are 1/4".

To make fitting the fibreglass deck easier, I drilled holes throughout the hull where the windows will be and used threaded rods with nuts and washers to spread the hull out.

With the fibreglass deck roughly sitting on the hull:

I think I will need a few more threaded rods in the bow section to spread the hull out wider, plus some light angled sanding to achieve a nice snug fit and a good bond once I am ready to bond the hull and deck together.

I will need to cut hatches in the deck first and make fibreglass rims for those hatches to sit on.
