As an experiment, I fitted a towline to my envoy-class tug, and proceeded to tow my father's SS Mobilube around. The little Defiance did the job without any trouble, towing the much larger ship around in circles,. The hard part was actually towng in a straight line.[IMG]

I found that if the towed ship still has rudder control, it makes the job of the tug much easier.

Thanks Mikey, I should get some shots with the Mobilube running her display deck.
Dad's tanker had it's less-detailed battling deck and super on it, so IMO it did look a little plain. Seems he got tired of gluing all the little bits and bobs back on after tangling with my Rodney and my brother's NC...
The detail on the tug is minimal to keep topweight down, she's a bit sensitive to anything above deck level. The whole bridge structure is the float, polystyrene with thin plastic cladding.
