Haven't used any but I saw one at a hobby shop in a rock-crawler monster truck. It looks like a sealed case, not a properly epoxy-potted ESC. If that's true, then it will only hold out water up to a few feet depth. Looking at the price tag for their simplest reversing ESC, I'd rather get a Mtroniks Viper marine. If your Local Hobby Shop carries one, take a look and see if it's really a sealed case or epoxy-potted. Then check whether there's a delayed reverse or not. Lastly, make sure it's cheaper than the Mtroniks ESC of equivalent rating. The Mtroniks stuff is always top-quality, I have found.
