I'm typing while laying flat so this'll be short. I had my stress test yesterday and got a heart cath this morning. They found 2 major blockages (circumflex artery and Left Anterior descending artery if you're curious), one blocked 95% and the other 99%. The doc said that if i'd gone to the battle i'd likely have been dead in the water. so i don't feel so bad about skipping this one. anyhow, they put a stent in the 99% and i will have another cath in bout 2 weeks to get the other fixed up. i'm resting comfortably and i want to thank everyone for the well-wishes. have a good weekend and god bless!

Wow, that's pretty serious! Good thing you noticed it early and got it checked out. I've seen the results when people don't.

Hope you get over this soon, laid up in drydock getting boiler tubes repaired is no place for a Tug.

Thanks guys, I'm home now. I'm glad that the worst of the two big blockages was dealt with; The doc (Dr. Legget) was the guy who did the stents in Pres. Clinton. Politics aside, you gotta be something special to get to work on a President, so I'm very blessed to have him in my town! He did say that doing both arteries at once would be too risky, so the second clog will get dealt with on Nov 3. I am on very light duty until a couple days after that procedure, so I won't be getting heavily involved in the shop till then. On the plus side, I can geek on the PC all day and get out of work for 2 weeks. Here's to hoping I don't get cabin fever!!

A good thing to hear. A little down time can not be bad and you can plot more fiendish axis schemes. ;)

    Take Care,

Indeed. I will likely use some of my free time to lay out the SB-201 class syllabus and schedule :) Deutschland fans, rejoice!
