Hi guys, short term news is: I'm still painting the house. Big news is: A cash infusion! What does this mean? It means that we will see some upgrades in the workshop: a big-ole combo 6" belt/ 12" disc sander which will let me rough out turret plugs an order of magnitude faster than my hand tools are doing now. A good bandsaw! Yay, I've wanted one since I was in high school shop class. A variable speed drill press, too I could afford those on my own (in a few months), but there is coming a big development that is not finalized yet. It will be good, and I will announce it here first, once it's a done deal.
