    All,
I talked with Tom yesterday afternoon and we're all set to go for May 5 & 6. The
idea is to get ships worked up, test and adjusted for the battling season so
we're not spending the first 4 hours at meets getting ships on the water. Also
we will have some battles for those who want to battle at this time. Minor
skirmishes to set up the season is a fun thing :D.

Anyway we're all set to got for this weekend. I will post hotel information soon
along with Tom's address for those who have not been there before. I can have
several people stay with me so let me know. If you have any questions please let
    me know.
    Thanks,
    Eric

It look like I'm out for that weekend. Minor surgery on my back that Wednesday, so I don't want to pull the stitches pondside.

    Here's the skinny,
The Tune up at Tom's on May 5 & 6 coming up (tomorrow). As posted earlier the
main point is to break the ships out, make sure they work and to be sure that
we're in compliance with the rules. I know that I had mentioned about possibly
getting some battling in, however that will not be the case. Due to Buddy's wife
having surgery earlier this week and his need to be with her we do not have a
CO2 supply for this event. I intend to rectify that by our next local battle.
That said, we'll still meet at the pond and test our ships and get sea trials
out of the way for those new ships and continue with a building session at my
house. I'm shooting for a 10 am start at the pond both days. If the weather
falls apart we'll just have building session. If you have any questions you can
contact me at 937-669-5117(H) or 937-901-6629(C).
    Thanks,
    Eric

P.S. Buddy, do not show me those pictures of you in that candy stripe outfit
again! Just got out of counceling for Josh's Frank Zappa marathon from several
years ago and I don't want to go back....:p:D
