Well heck , lets just open up a can-o-worms here...
Can somebody who knows brushless motors and ECS entertain me with what would be a good choice in "brushless motors/esc's" for my Mutsu?
I am changing her over to LiFePo4's from the older SLA's. She currently uses two 550 cans for the drive and one for the pump. Both drive motors work on gear boxes. I might as well change over to Brushless at this time. I just do not want to buy something that will not work. I plan on using the same 6v system throughout the ship. My battery will be two LiFePo4 prismatic 3.2v 20AH batteries in serial.
    My batteries...

I'm interested in the, too. What happens to a brushless motor when it gets flooded? Does it act the same as the older models?

I think Mike Mangus covers this topic very well under Propulsion http://www.rcnavalcombat.com/Forum/...fault.aspx.
