Upgrading a printer

    Not something I did, but this guy had a very interesting idea:

    Basically this guy took a cheap, used commercial printer with good hardware but crappy firmware, and replaced the control board with a Smoothieboard and E3D hotend. Just another way to get into 3d printing, for those who are interested.
