Are you looking for BB-1 or BB-58 plans? If you are looking for BB-58, there is a set of plans for USS South Dakota BB-49 at http://www.hnsa.org/doc/plans/. I believe that they are the same class ships.

Strike Models sells plans for the South Dakota BB-49 as well, if that's close enough for you.

BB49 Sodak was for post ww-1 class of battleships i think, cancelled due to the Naval Treaties.

The real question is, does he want BB-1, BB-50 (cancelled) or BB-58

Thanks for the correction Nick. We (Strike Models) have the South Dakota Class BB57/58/59/60 plans, so it does cover the USS Indiana BB58.

The only thing to remember with the SoDaks is that the South Dakota was slightly different from the rest of the class in that she lost a 2 twin 5" turrets and had quad 40's in their place. This had to do with her being fitted as a fleet flagship.

South Dakota was built as a fleet flagship, with an extra deck on her conning tower for extra command space, so her secondary battery had sixteen 5-in (127 mm)/38 caliber Mark 12 guns in eight Mark 28 Mod 0 twin DP mounts, four on either side of the superstructure. This was two turrets fewer than her sister ships who had ten twin DP mounts of twenty guns, five on either side of the ship.

    Keri-

Where are your Indiana plans? I looked but couldn't find them. I assume it's a different name but same class.
