I snagged a set of non copyrighted plans for the USS Puritan BM-1. Specs are as follows:
    Name: USS Puritan
    Laid down: 1874
    Launched: 6 December 1882
    Commissioned: 10 December 1896
    Decommissioned: 23 April 1910
    General characteristics
    Type: Puritan class Monitor
    Displacement: 6,060 long tons (6,157 t)
    Length: 296 ft 3 in (90.30 m)
    Beam: 60 ft 1.5 in (18.326 m)
    Draft: 18 ft (5.5 m)
    Speed: 12.4 knots
    Armament: • 4 × 12 in (300 mm) breechloader rifles
    • 6 × 4 in (100 mm) breechloader rifles
    Amidships: 14 in (360 mm)
I think it is one of the most feasible monitors. It has a very simple hull design. Thick armor and 2 twin 7/32" guns. With an extra 3/8" it should easily weigh over 6lbs to float at the waterline. I'm actually considering trying my hand at building a plug. Granted it isn't gonna happen for a while. It is still pretty cool. If someone wants a copy just PM me, cover my costs, and I will hook you up.

Sure thing guys. Most of the sheets are in 1/96. the one with hull sections and lines is 1/48. I was gonna do up a full set of 1/96 and 1/144. Y'all got a preference of either scale?
