Here's a few shot of the Sara, changes include new paint and a full time squadron of 14 to shoot at.

Very Very cool. WWCC had/has a Lexington in it that I fell in love with back in the day. I have always like those two ships, they just look really cool. I love CVs in general. Its neat to see them on the pond.

Very nice to see the Sara again. I enjoyed sinking her but it would have been nice to see those planes on board at the time. The planes look great! Nice work on the Sara Iceman .

Everybody wanted to shoot the planes, These are handmade of foam and tin. Cheap, durable and staying for the battle. Besides, if you are shooting that high, I am in trouble or your guns are missing the waterline. either way...

    Very nice indeed.
Is this a new boat, or a re-build?
It seems like I have either seen that boat several years ago, or seen build photos a couple of years ago.
Or perhaps it was Don's carrier that I am thinking about.
    Very cool all the same.
    Well done.

I'm sure you have seen it. I just took it out of the dazzle paint scheme. I wanted the silhouette of a classic ww2 carrier on the water. Hard to get that with the dazzle. I actually built the ship to represent mid war and had every intention of painting it plain from the beginning. It will make it easier to paint but also changes it up a bit.

Again, very cool. I think Joe has his set up for prewar look... I'm 90% sure he has the 8" guns in on his. I'll have to see if I can find a photo. I had really considered an early US carrier before I started the Arizona. I was thinking either a Lexington or a Yorktown. Both of those class just are what I think of when I think of a CV.

Thanks, I have to say after 5 years, she is a real stable platform, has battletime and has helped me in research. It's a lot of fun to sail her, I put about 2 hours on her this time.

I hand built her out of fiberglass. She weighs about 32 lbs and I built her to cruiser class 3 specs in case I ever decided to arm her and get killed in battle.

Here is Joe's Lexington. Such a cool looking CV. I really dig the prewar ships. I kinda wish I had bought it last year when he offered...

Just spit beer out nose, thanks for that!

I pick it up with my hands.
And yes, a 6 foot ship is a long heavy pain...

Speed is restricted to 34 sec convoy or when I open her up (like at home) about 26-28.
